In an official announcement dated April 6, 2020, U.S.-based Gemini cryptocurrency exchange stated that it would soon be introducing support for privacy-centric web browser Brave’s native digital token – Basic Attention Token (BAT).
Gemini Extends Support for BAT
In a major endorsement for Brave browser’s native cryptocurrency – BAT – Winklevoss brother’s Gemini cryptocurrency exchange recently announced that it would be introducing support for the digital currency.
Per the official announcement, the exchange will enable BAT trading from April 24, 2020, 09:30 ET onwards. This means that very soon, Gemini users will be able to withdraw and deposit BAT into their accounts on the exchange.
The announcement comes as a big development for the BAT community as the digital token will only be the sixth cryptocurrency to be listed on the exchange. To date, Gemini has listed only a select few cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Zcash (ZEC).
The exchange added that it would be offering USD, BTC, and ETH trading pairs for BAT on both its continuous order book and its automated block trading system.
A Digital Token with Potential
