NEW YORK June 29, 2018 — Following the success of the first annual Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Investment Summit (“BCI Summit”), BCI will host a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America at 32 Orchard Street in Manhattan, New York. Industry experts and investors will explore blockchain’s growth and opportunities in arts with the focus on emerging and AI generated arts on blockchain, utilizing blockchain technologies to protect artist’s rights and compensation, and moving existing visual arts to blockchain for security and tracking.
Panelists will include digital art with blockchain experts Ahmed Elgammal, Professor and Founder/Director of the Art & AI Laboratory at Rutgers University who gained worldwide recognition with creating the first AI generated visual art work, and Judy Mam, Co-Founder of Dada.nyc, the world’s only visual conversation network where artists and regular people speak to each other through drawings and create art together.
The fundraiser celebrates the launch of BCI Roundtables, created to help investors demystify blockchain through education, transparency, and targeted business networking. All donations and net proceeds from ticket sales go to Make-A-Wish® Metro New York. Sponsors include Lady M Cakes and OLSEN GRUIN.
