The integration with Samsung Blockchain Wallet will make it easier for XWallet users to pay with cryptocurrencies on the go. Specifically, Samsung smartphone users will now be able to quickly move their digital assets from Samsung Blockchain Wallet to XWallet, and then, use PundiX’s global payment ecosystem to make instant cryptocurrency payments.
XWallet users who use Samsung Galaxy S10 will have the option to securely store their digital assets in Samsung Blockchain Wallet, like a savings account, the blog post reads.
XWallet’s integration with Samsung Blockchain Wallet is another major milestone for the rapidly expanding PundiX community as it potentially opens up the opportunity to push DLT-based digital assets into the mainstream, courtesy of the millions of Samsung smartphone users around the world.
The announcement reads in part:
“The XWallet’s integration with the Samsung Blockchain Wallet thus makes Pundi X payment ecosystem available to a much wider audience, allowing the Samsung Galaxy smartphone users to not only store their ETH securely but also transfer to XWallet and spend it in a variety of shops, opening their doors to the new generation and their preferred cryptocurrencies.”
The announcement mentions that XWallet can now also be used to make crypto payments via PundiX’s flagship blockchain-enabled point-of-sale device, XPOS. Per sources close to the matter, the XPOS PoS device has already been deployed in more than 25 countries across the globe.
