Top 10 Most Active ERC20 dApps Based on Developer Activity
In a blog post on June 4, 2019, Santiment, a financial market data and content platform for the crypto ecosystem, unveiled ten Ethereum-based decentralized application (dApp) projects with the highest developer activity as of May 2019, including Status (SNT), Storj (STORJ), Augur (REP), Aragon (ANT), Constant (CONST), among others.
Santiment Calculates Top 10 ERC-20 Projects
Per the blog post, Santiment has calculated the top ten ERC20 dApp projects with the highest developer activity for May. The report is aimed at showing developers’ commitment to creating a working product, updating and polishing features, and adhering to the project roadmap.
Unlike its previous reports that include a list of projects that have moved from Ethereum to other blockchains or their mainnet, the latest release only focuses on projects that are purely based on the ERC20 standard.
To that effect, the projects with the most active developer activity in the past month are Status (SNT), Storj (STORJ), Augur (REP), Aragon (ANT), Constant (CONST), POA Network (POA), Gnosis (GNO), Golem (GNT), Neumark (NEU), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN).
An overview of what each project had successfully achieved in May was also presented, and the details were acquired by asking each platform what they had been working on in the past 30 days.
While outlining its achievements in May, Status, an open source mobile dApp browser and messenger built for Ethereum, said its focus was majorly on its beta release 0.13.0.
The new version features custom, user-added ERC20 token support, a preview privacy mode, and relocation of the browser privacy mode. Bug reporting on iOS and Android smartphones were also introduced.
Similarly, Storj, a platform that provides private decentralized cloud object storage, said its team’s focus was on enhancing the products for users who are experimenting with the Vanguard alpha. It also made final preparations for the Pioneer beta launch of the network.
Also, Augur, a blockchain-based decentralized prediction marketplace revealed that its team is working on redesigning the Reference UI and creating an all-new middleware system for the v2 contracts.
