Seriously guys? You just could have signed the statement cryptographically and everything would have been fine. Nobody could doubt it. We have a tool (Bitcoin) for decentralized and secure timestamping, why don't we use it?

It would be this easy:

  • embed a hash of the statement in a block

  • wait for some confirmations

  • everybody who wants signs the hash

  • publish the statement, the hash algorithm used and the signatures

They couldn't even secretly craft another statement afterwards due to the timestamping.

*It is worth noting that /u/evoorhees "[doesn't] believe it was malicious"

I really miss the days when Erik still had balls. He was amazing back then.

I really miss the days when character assassination wasn't such an accepted practice in our community.

Why do you think he doesn't have balls because he honestly think it wasn't malicious?

What did he do?

Look at Kraken's edit a few minutes ago. They stand by the final document that was released.

Except for the edited-in part.

One point of clarification: we make no commitments to the long-term ticker assignments of either Core or BU.

Was this organized by the same people who organized the HK conference?

How about we look at them both and compare?

bs/core bullshits have completely and finally lost all of their moral compass, all the dirty tricks usef so far. well, maybe some heads will be chopped off by their masters once their project of hijacking and destroying bitcoin fails. that's what's happens when you play games with banksters worldwide mafia.

It looks like you're trying to mention other users, which only works if it's done in the comments like this (otherwise they don't receive a notification):
